PP pipe has lower hardness and poorer rigidity than metal pipe, so it should be maintained during transfer and construction to prevent mechanical damage caused by improper external force. The orientation of the pipeline should be marked after dark application to avoid damage to the pipeline by the secondary decoration. PP pipe has a certain low temperature brittleness below 5 ℃, so pay attention to the construction in winter, and use a sharp knife to cut slowly when cutting the pipe. Do not press or knock the installed pipeline, and cover the parts susceptible to external force with maintenance if necessary.
The pp tube is easy to age and degrade when exposed to ultraviolet rays for a long time. It is necessary to wrap a dark protective layer when the device is outdoors or in direct sunlight. In addition to using mechanical connection methods such as threaded inserts or flanges to connect with metal pipes or water appliances, PP pipes should be connected by hot melt, so that the pipes are integrated and there is no leakage point. The linear expansion coefficient of the PP pipe is relatively large (0.15mm/m°C), and it is necessary to take technical measures to prevent the expansion and deformation of the pipe when the pipe is installed in the surface or not directly buried.
